Scholarships

The Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Educational Foundation, Inc. has established a scholarship fund for MCPS graduating seniors planning to attend Montgomery College. Students should have demonstrated academic promise, the self-discipline to succeed, and significant financial need. Funding sources include philanthropic foundations, government agencies, corporations, private citizens, and escheated funds. The Educational Foundation also partners with Montgomery County legislators to identify students who reside in their district and who are planning to attend Montgomery College. Students should visit the Who Are Your Elected Officials site to determine their legislative district.

If funding is available, scholarships could be renewed until completion of an Associate Degree or for no longer than three years. While students planning to attend Montgomery College will be given priority consideration, students might be considered for an award to attend a four-year Maryland Institution if additional funding is available.
