When the COVID-19 crisis created a quick and dramatic shift to remote learning, MCPS principals and administrators began distributing Chromebooks to MCPS students who did not have access to a computer home.With your help, the Foundation was able to assist MCPS in the purchase of tablets and other Wi-Fi devices in what we called our "Chromebooks" campaign.
In spring 2021, MCPS began slowly reopening schools. However, many students still face challenges when it comes to being fully connected.
Through the DigitALL ACCESS campaign, the Foundation is raising funds to help MCPS students with tablet repair and replacement, Wi-Fi connectivity, and access to digital content through school libraries and media.
With remote and hybrid learning continuing, access to the digital world is more essential than ever. Your support in helping students gain that access is greatly appreciated.
